Day at Birch Aquarium

Dive into a day of excitement and discovery at Birch Aquarium — where learning and adventure come alive. Explore the wonders of marine life and our ocean planet through a variety of interactive exhibits, colorful displays and hands-on activities, sure to delight visitors of all ages. Be sure to check out the Little Blue Penguins, immersive tidepool and incredible ocean views. Bring the whole family and make a splash!
Food
The aquarium’s own Splash! Cafe will be open for guests to purchase food and beverages. (Cafe is open daily from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.).

Location and Parking
Parking is free for guests; limited spaces are available. Large vehicle parking is available along La Jolla Shores Drive, west of Birch Aquarium.
Overflow parking will be in Parking Lots 14 and Lot 16 for when the Birch parking lot is full.
