Parking

Parking permits are required every day of the week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

In most lots, paid parking is available in visitor (V) parking spaces. The Gilman Parking Structure has the largest availability of V spaces. Hopkins Parking Structure is conveniently located near LionTree Arena, RIMAC Field and Ridgewalk Social. To pay for parking, visit the permit machine or use the ParkMobile app. Visit the Transportation Services site to see rates.

Please pay attention to all parking signage and do not park in spaces marked “Reserved.”

Special alumni discount

As a UC San Diego alum, you receive 50% off visitor parking on the main campus when using the ParkMobile app.

To take advantage of this benefit, log in to ParkMobile using the same email address where you receive UC San Diego Alumni communications. Open ParkMobile.

Please note that patient and visitor parking rates for UC San Diego Health facilities already reflect a 50% discount from campus rates and cannot be combined with the alumni parking benefit.
