For two days, Town Square and Carlos Malamud Plaza will come alive with music, culture and Triton pride as the entire UC San Diego community celebrates the grand opening of the Triton Alumni and Welcome Center. This campuswide festival brings together alumni, students and friends for live entertainment, interactive experiences, offerings from alumni-owned businesses and more.
Just steps away from the Block Party, get your first look inside the new, state-of-the-art Triton Alumni and Welcome Center. Step inside to discover spaces made for connection, a welcoming alumni lounge and library, inspiring exhibitions and a rooftop terrace with panoramic campus views.
Celebrate, connect and explore as we usher in a new Homecoming tradition at UC San Diego.

Day 1: Grand Opening Celebration

Celebrate the grand opening of the Triton Alumni and Welcome Center with music, food trucks, a beer garden, alumni-owned businesses, contests and giveaways. Explore the new center and stick around for a special Friday evening performance.
Day 2: Triton Community Celebration
Saturday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Bring your friends and family and celebrate all things Triton with campus showcases, student and cultural performances, alumni DJs, food trucks, family-friendly activities, tours and plenty of ways to explore, connect and celebrate.
Welcome home gift for alumni
To celebrate the opening of the new Triton Alumni and Welcome Center, alumni who register and tour the new center will receive a complimentary pair of limited-edition, commemorative Triton Knockaround sunglasses.
